God can't stand to see the people he created going around in circles with no
destination. God gave us his word, the Bible, to give us hope. It's the one thing
we can hold on to.
Hebrews 2:14 "...[Jesus] too shared in their humanity so that by his death he
might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil--and free those
who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death."
The Bible tells us about how God became a man himself in the person of Jesus Christ.
He experienced the cycle of birth, life, and death, just like we do. But he escaped. After He died, he rose to life again and returned to his place in heaven where he rules over heaven and earth.
He showed us the way to escape. By following him, we can break out of the cycle of
living and dying.
Ephesians 1:19,20 "[God's] power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he
exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand
in the heavenly realms."
Ephesians 1:14 "And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth,
the gospel of your salvation."
